As you have mentioned that you are not able to log in to your Tplink device In this case kindly log in to your router web management page and under devices list kindly check Ip address assigned to extender.
After checking kindly open any browser on the device connected with extender and type in the same ip address then you will be able to login to your extenders main page.

If you are not able to login to to the tplink extender page, Follow the instruction below:
> Pull up your primary router page
> Go to DHCP client table or connected device page
> You will see your extender in the list click on details you will see an IP address assigned to the extender
> Pull up that IP address on the browser you will be able to see the Extender login screen fro your extender
Default username and password is admin
