To secure your 2.4ghz and 5 ghz band kindly follow these steps:-
1.Change Your Router Admin Username and Password.
2.Change the Network Name.
3.Activate Encryption.
4.Double Up on Firewalls.
5.Turn Off Guest Networks.
6.Update Router Firmware.
7.Turn Off WPS.
8.Disable DHCP.
9.Filter on MAC Addresses.

In order to secure the network for your Tplink router for both 2.4 and 5.0 Ghz please follow the steps below:
> Connect your computer to the tplink Router wirelessly or via Ethernet cable
> Pull up a browser and at the very top type in 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 and hit enter
> you will get to the Tplink login screen default username is admin and password is : admin
> Go to the wireless under basic settings and under wireless choose wireless security 2.4 and wireless 5.0 Ghz
> put a password of your choice, Select mode as WPA2 personal AES
