in order to configure your range extender RE450 please follow the instructions below :
Steps 1:
Press and hold the WPS button on the extender for 3- 4 seconds and then on the Router 3 -4 seconds you will first see a flashing light on the extender and then light goes solid, With this the setup is complete
Step 2:
Connect your computer to the default SSID of your extender
Pull up a browser and the top on the address bar type in 192.168.0.254 and hit enter
Login is username : admin and Password : admin
setup wizard will appear, Follow the instructions to complete the setup
For first time setup-
– Plug your range extender near to your router.
– Locate WPS button on your router. Maybe on the back or front.
– Press the WPS button on the router for 4 seconds.
– Press the WPS button on the Range Extender for 4 seconds.
– Wait for 2-3 minutes.
– Now once the Wifi LED on the extender get solid you can connect to the network.
– Look for your wireless name with EXT and use your router password to connect.
1.CONNECT YOUR EXTENDER IN A DIRECT WALL SOCKET.
2. PRESS WPS BUTTON ON YOUR EXTENDER FOR 3-5 SECONDS.
3.PRESS WPS BUTTON ON YOUR ROUTER AND YOU WILL SEE LIGHTS STARTS BLINKING ON YOUR EXTENDER.
4.IT WILL BE CONNECTED TO YOUR ROUTERS NETWORK ONCE THE LIGHT WILL BE SOLID.
5.NOW ENTER THE ADDRESS FOR YOUR EXTENDER SET UP.
6.LOGIN WITH DEFAULT CREDENTIALS THERE.
7. IT WILL OPEN A SETUP WIZARD FOR YOU.
8.FOLLOW THE STEPS OF WIZARD AND YOU ARE GOOD TO GO NOW.
To setup your extender kindly follow these steps:-
1.Plug your Range Extender into a power outlet near your main Router.
2.Push the WPS button on your main Router first, then immediately push the WPS button on your Range Extender.
3. After you have pushed WPS button of your Router, you need to push WPS button of your Range Extender within 2 minutes. .
4.After pushing the WPS button of your Router, your Router WPS LED should blink. If your Router WPS LED doesn’t blink, it means you need to push the WPS button again until the WPS LED of your Router blinks. The same reason is also suitable for RE product. After pushing the WPS button of your Range Extender, the WPS light of your Range Extender should blink. If not, push again.
5.The WPS process will last 2 minutes. You can wait 2 minutes, and then check the wireless signal LED of your Range Extender.
5. After 2 minutes, if the wireless signal LED of your Range Extender is still off, it means the WPS process fails. You may need to try one more or several more times of WPS operation, and repeat the steps above.
6. At last, you can put your Range Extender in a proper place where you want to extend the wireless network’s coverage, and enjoy the extended wireless network. No need to repeat the process. Once it’s done, it will connect automatically every time you plug it back in.
