How to setup a tplink router

• -Turn off the modem, and remove the backup battery if it has one.
  -Connect the modem to the router’s Internet port with an Ethernet cable.
  -Turn on the modem, and then wait about 2 minutes for it to restart.
  -Connect the power adapter to the router and turn on the router.
  -Verify that the following LEDs are on and solid to confirm the hardware is connected correctly.
  -Configure the Router by connecting the ethernet cable to router from the laptop/desktop
  -Launch a web browser, and enter http://tplinkwifi.net or http://192.168.0.1 in
  the address bar. Create a login password and then click Let’s Get Started.
  -Click the network icon of your computer or go to Wi-Fi settings of your smart device, and then select the SSID to join the network.

• To setup your Tp link router kindly follow these steps:-
  You need to plug in a cable from your existing modem to internet port of your router.
  after connecting this cable connect a cable from port no-4 of your router to your computer. then follow these steps:
  1. Press windows + R key that will open run window for you.
  2. Type CMD in the run box.
  3. Open Ipconfig and check network statistics.
  4. Open your default gateway in any browser.
  5. Type your user name and password .
  6. that will open a setup wizard for you so follow the steps and you are good to go.

• – You need to be connected to your router wireless.
  – Open your browser and type in the address bar 192.168.0.1
  – Login using admin for both username & password.
  – The setup wizard will begin.
  – Follow the instructions and complete the setup.

• In order to setup your tplink router follow the steps given below:
  > Connect a cable from your modem’s LAN port to the internet port of the router
  > Connect your computer wireless to the routers default SSID or via Ethernet cable
  > Pull up a browser and at the top on the address bar type in 192.168.0.1 and hit enter
  > you will come through your router login screen default username : admin and Password : admin
  > setup page will come up , Follow the instruction to complete the setup
  Note : It should be Dynamic Ip and do not clone the MAC of the computer.

• You need to connect the internet cable from your modem to the tp link router in the internet port.
  Now connect another cable from any port {no-1,2,3,4} to the computer on which we are working.
  Now open the browser and type in the address bar default ip address of your tp link i.e 19.168.0.1
  Now create a new username and password to login to the router settings .
  GO according to the instructions given and your router set up is complete.
