You need to make sure that the old internet security has been removed from the computer from the registry.
you can also use the uninstaller tool like Revo or c cleaner to remove the old security from the computer
Then restart the computer and try to reinstall the internet security that you are trying to install
If it stucks again then maybe the new internet security that you are trying to install is not compatible for your windows.
You can use Iobit uninstaller which is a third party software to deep clean old internet security files. Some time when you uninstall a internet security it leaves behind some files in your system. So always use a removal tool for that particular internet security or a uninstaller tool.
Well in that case you need to install the revo uninstaller in your pc first of all.
