How do i setup my ASUS Router

• To setup your Asus router you need to follow these steps:-
  You need to plug in a cable from your existing modem to internet port of your router.
  after connecting this cable connect a cable from port no-4 of your router to your computer. then follow these steps:
  1. Press windows + R key that will open run window for you.
  2. Type CMD in the run box.
  3. Open Ipconfig and check network statistics.
  4. Open your default gateway in any browser.
  5. Type your user name and password .
  6. that will open a setup wizard for you so follow the steps and you are good to go.
  7. while following the setup wizard kindly make sure the settings you are choosing is correct
  i.e time zone and wireless network name and key.
  8. kindly upgrade the router firmware as well if there is any update pending over there.
  if problem still persists you can reset your router and follow the same steps.

  Connect a cable from the Modem LAN port to the Internet port of the router
  Make sure the computer is Connected to the Router Wireless Or via ethernet cable
  1. Pull up a browser and at the very top on the address bar type in 192.168.50.1 or http://www.asus.wifi.net
  2. You will see a login screen enter the username : admin and password : admin
  3. Setup the internet follow the instruction to complete the router setup

• 1.Make sure you have a working internet connection.
  2.Connect the internet cable to the internet port on your Asus router.
  3.Then open your browser and try to the login page using “192.168.1.1” in the address bar.
  4.Follow the instructions and complete the setup.
