how to update the Firmware for my Netgear R7000

in order to update the firmware Version of the router, Please follow the steps below:
> Make sure your computer is connected to the router via ethernet cable or Wireless
> Logon to https://www.routerlogin.net or 192.168.1.1
> Use the default username : admin and the default password : password
> on the main screen of your netgear Dashboard you will see on the top Firmware upgrade is availabe
> If not go to the Advanced and then go to Administrator then click on router update
> Click on Check button and it will tell you if there is one update available or not
> If there is one Click YES and it will update it if not then wait for at least for a month or two to check it again.
1. Make sure you are connected to your router to access routerlogin.net or router login page.
2. You can use Ethernet cable from router to PC or wirelessly connect to the router.
3. Once connected open your browser.
4. Now in the address bar type http://www.routerlogin.net.
5. You can also use IP address – 192.168.1.1
6. The login screen will appear.
7. Use Default – username-admin / password-password
8. Updates will flash on the screen.
9. Click on it and follow instructions to complete the firmware update.
10. Note- Make sure when you update your router try Ethernet connection first.

YOU CAN ACCESS IT BY ENTERING THE DEFAULT IP ADDRESS I.E 192.168.1.1 OR http://WWW.ROUTERLOGIN.NET.
IF THERE IS ANY NEW FIRMWARE AVAILABLE FOR YOUR ROUTER IT WILL BE DISPALYED ON THE TOP.
IF NOT GO TO THE ADVANCED AND THEN GO TO ADMINISTRATOR THEN CLICK ON ROUTER UPDATE.
CHECK IF ANY NEW FIRMWARE VERSION AVAILABLE OR NOT.
UPDATE THE FIRMWARE OF YOUR ROUTER AND GO WITH IT
To update the firmware of your Netgear router you need to follow these steps:-
1. Press windows + R key that will open run window for you.
2. Type CMD in the run box.
3. Open Ipconfig and check network statistics.
4. Open your default gateway in any browser.
5. Type your user name and password .
6. now you are on router main page .
7. you need to go to advanced tab and then administration there you will find upgrade of your
router.
8. click on update it will take 2-3 minutes and it will reboot your router automatically after
updation.
now your firmware of router has been successfully updated.
