  • 1.Connect an Ethernet cable from modem to your Netgear R6700 router’s WAN port.
    2.Connect another cable from router to computer .
    3.Now open your browser and type in the address bar http://routerlogin.net.
    4.Select ‘Help me Choose’ and follow the instructions on the screen.
    5.Once your setup is completed remove the ethernet from the computer.

  • To hook up your netgear R6700 V2 router to the modem follow the steps below:
    > Connect a Ethernet cable from Modems LAN port to Routers Internet port
    > wait until you see a solid internet light on the router
    > connect your computer to the router wireless or wired
    > pull up a browser type in https://www.routerlogin.net or 192.168.1.1
    > select the let me choose option and here you can follow the instructions and complete the setup

  • To setup your R6700v2 router you need to follow these steps:-
    You need to plug in a cable from your existing modem to internet port of your router.
    after connecting this cable connect a cable from port no-4 of your router to your computer. then follow these steps:
    1. Press windows + R key that will open run window for you.
    2. Type CMD in the run box.
    3. Open Ipconfig and check network statistics.
    4. Open your default gateway in any browser.
    5. Type your user name and password .
    6. that will open a setup wizard for you so follow the steps and you are good to go.
    7. while following the setup wizard kindly make sure the settings you are choosing is correct
    i.e time zone and wireless network name and key.
    8. kindly upgrade the router firmware as well if there is any update pending over there.
    if problem still persists you can reset your router and follow the same steps.
