  • in order to change any settings on the Belkin router you need to follow the steps below:
    > First make sure the computer should be connected to the router wireless or Via ethernet cable
    > Pull up a browser and logon to 192.168.2.1 and hit enter
    > You will see the dashboard screen of your Belkin router
    > All you need to do is unlock the dashboard using the default password admin and you can make the changes to the settings
    Tip: Try not to make any changes to the Advances section of the router if you are not techy.

  • To change the settings of your Belkin router kindly follow these steps:-
    computer/any device should be connected to the routers network.
    1. Press windows + R key that will open run window for you.
    2. Type CMD in the run box.
    3. Open Ipconfig and check network statistics.
    4. Open your default gateway in any browser.
    5. Type your user name and password .
    6. It will open router main page from here you can modify the settings .

  • In some cases when a router is not letting you access the login page could mean different things. Follow the steps provided to troubleshoot.

    1. Make sure you are connected with your router when you are opening up your router page.
    2. Try to open the IP address 192.168.2.1 on your browser to get the router page.
    3. If above steps don’t work, reset your router and do the router setup again.

  • -A simple solution is an ethernet cable from Belkin router to your computer. From LAN port to PC.
    -Now open any browser and in the address bar not the search bar.
    -Type 192.168.2.1 and log in with admin credentials.
