if reset my tplink extender will that help to resolve my Connectiivity issues?

Yes go ahead and reset your extender but along with it you need to restart your modem and router at the same time
Once the internet from your router is working ,reconfigure your extender again.
If needed make some changes in the wireless channels also in the extender.
Yes resetting the Extender is a good way some for some of the issue how ever if still dos not fix the issue try the following steps:
> Try to reboot the router / Modem and the extender wait for at least 5 minutes before you try to reconnect
> Try to switch to a different channel on the router modem for both the Bands if you have dual band router and the extender.
> Make sure the distance between your router and extender shouldn’t be too far or too close
> extender will not work if its in the dead wireless area of the router it has to be in the range at least in by 4 quarter.
Resetting of extender is not going to fix problem for you , Resetting of a device is just making that device to factory default settings.
For connectivity issue there is a need of technician who can check settings of your router,extender and install it with proper configuration.
