  • In order to change the administrative username and password you would need to follow the steps following:
    > logon to the tplink dashboard using the IP address 192.168.0.1 or using the link https://www.tplinkwifi.net and sign in with the default username ; admin and password : admin
    > go to the advanced then to the system tools
    > click on password under system tools
    > put the old username and password admin, admin
    > put the new one of your choice
    > apply the changes or save the changes

  • To change the administrative username or password of TP-Link Wireless Routers you need to access the router login page via any of the browser using a computer tablet or a phone.Type the IP address of the router usually is 192.168.1.1 will ask you for the username and password which is ‘admin’ , ‘admin’ for both. Clicking on Login gives you access to the router page.Hit the Advance Tab and on the left you get the options of changing the login password and username .

  • To change the administrative credentials kindly follow these steps:-
    1. Press windows + R key that will open run window for you.
    2. Type CMD in the run box.
    3. Open Ipconfig and check network statistics.
    4. Open your default gateway in any browser.
    5. Type your user name and password .
    6. now you are on router main page, under Maintenance, select Set Password to display the Set
    Password screen.
    7.To change the password, first enter the old password, then enter the new password twice.
    8.Click Apply.
    your admin password has been changed successfully now.
