How do i setup my tplink extender re305 with my linksys router ?

Connect the Ethernet cable from your tp link re 305 to the computer
Now open the web utility by entering the default ip address of it i.e 192.168.0.254 or https://www.tplinikrepeater.net
You need to login to your extender by entering the default username and password I.E admin both.
Now select your wireless network and enter the key for it nad give a new name to your extender and save all tHe settings
Your extender reboots now for making of all the settings.
Remove the ethernet cable from your extender and place it on the desired location.
Connect your devices with extender network and enjoy the internet.
There are several ways to connect your Tp link extender i.e ethernet cable method ,wps method and many more but i am sharing wps method here for wps method you need to follow these steps:-
1. connect your extender in a direct wall socket near by your router for setup.
2. press wps button on your extender for 3-5 seconds.
3. press wps button on your router (you can do it by accessing router main page also).
4. it will be connected to your routers network.
5. you will see your network name with ext affixed in it.
6. connect to the same network .
7. it will open a setup wizard for you.
8. follow the on screen instructions and you are good to go now.
(if problem still persists you can reset your device.)
