Plug in your extender near by your router for set up.
Then you will see the default name of your extender in the wireless list.
So you can set up your extender in two ways:-
1. You can connect manually to the extender wifi and then access the deafult login page of it.
2.You need to press the wps button on your router and extender at the same time, once the light on your extender is solid your extender is automatically configured.
Now connect with extender network and access the login page and your extender is ready to go.
In order to connect your new extender to the Dlink router you need to follow the following steps:
Step 1
> Plug your extender near to the router
> go to the available wifi connection on your computer connect to the extender wifi
> logon to the login website of your extender.
> Complete the setup
Step 2
> Press the WPS button on the router and the extender for 4 seconds once the light on the extender stops flashing and gets solid the extender is linked to the router
> connect your computer to the extended wifi
> logon to the extended login page if you need to make any changes
once its configured plug your extender where you want it to be plugged in.
To connect your extender with dlink router kindly follow these steps:-
1. connect your extender in a direct wall socket near by your router for setup.
2. press wps button on your extender for 3-5 seconds.
3. press wps button on your router (you can do it by accessing router main page also).
4. it will be connected to your routers network.
5. you will see your network name with ext affixed in it.
6. connect to the same network .
7. it will open a setup wizard for you.
8. follow the on screen instructions and you are good to go now.
