  • There are some firmwares that trashes the webui and prevents access.
    also, there must have been 1 browser that is still logged in or has auto-remember password set.
    remove all that, and clear your settings (restore to factory default).
    put everything setting back one by one.

  • In this scenario you need to reset all the settings of your router by holding the reset button on the back of it .
    You need to hold it down for atleast 20 seconds , then unplug your router and plug it back again.
    Then you can go to router.asus.com and configure your router.

  • First you need to reset the browser you are using to access the router page and then try to login with http://www.router.asus.com. If still you are not able to login to the router page try to login with the default Ip address 192.168.1.1 you will be able to login then.

  • As you have mentioned that you are not able to access router website to finish the setup In this case kindly reset your device using a paper clip to factory default and re setup the device. while resetting the device it should be directly plugged into a wall socket.
