can not access the router.asus.com website to finish the setup

There are some firmwares that trashes the webui and prevents access.
also, there must have been 1 browser that is still logged in or has auto-remember password set.
remove all that, and clear your settings (restore to factory default).
put everything setting back one by one.
In this scenario you need to reset all the settings of your router by holding the reset button on the back of it .
You need to hold it down for atleast 20 seconds , then unplug your router and plug it back again.
Then you can go to router.asus.com and configure your router.
First you need to reset the browser you are using to access the router page and then try to login with http://www.router.asus.com. If still you are not able to login to the router page try to login with the default Ip address 192.168.1.1 you will be able to login then.
As you have mentioned that you are not able to access router website to finish the setup In this case kindly reset your device using a paper clip to factory default and re setup the device. while resetting the device it should be directly plugged into a wall socket.
