How to update the security on my router?

1.Open a Web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox.
2.Enter http://192.168.1.1 in the Address field of the browser.
3.Enter admin in the User Name field.
4.Enter password in the Password field and click OK.
5.Click the Wireless settings icon in the top toolbar.
6.Click Basic Security Settings in the left navigation panel
7.Enter your SSID in the SSID field. You must enter the same SSID assigned to the other computers and network adapters on your network
To change the security credentials of your router kindly follow these steps:-
1. Press windows + R key that will open run window for you.
2. Type CMD in the run box.
3. Open Ipconfig and check network statistics.
4. Open your default gateway in any browser.
5. Type your user name and password .
6. now you are on router main page, under Maintenance, select Set Password to display the Set
Password screen.
7.To change the password, first enter the old password, then enter the new password twice.
8.Click Apply.
your admin password has been changed successfully now.

To update the security on router you need to log into router dashboard.
Launch any internet browser using interface https://www.linksyssmartwifi.com
Go to wireless settings and change the security .
Click apply to save the settings
