  • In order to get this to work, users needed to enable the ‘Trusted Voice’ setting. To check this is enabled on your phone, go to:
    Settings
    Voice
    ‘OK Google’ detection
Ensure ‘Trusted Voice’ is set to the on position.
    2. check your language settings.
3.Check the microphone on your device.
4.Update Google app. You need to make sure that you have the latest version of Google app. Open Google Play, tap on three horizontal lines to open the menu and tap on “My apps & games”. You will see all the apps there, find Google, and if there is a new version available, tap Update.

  • Hello: Thanks for your answer to my question. You didn’t answer the first part of the question, which has to do with the navigation gestures. I don’t understand why my taps are not recognized by the phone. Please kindly refer to the question again, and please try to give an answer. I use Anderoid 6.01 mashmelllo.

    • Sir it looks like you haven’t enable the explore by touch option. Its a simple method in which you need to navigate to talk back settings which you can find in accessibility. Enable your talkback and double tap on settings . Scroll down and enable Explore by touch option. Let me know if it didn’t work.
I can suggest you some different troubleshooting.

      • Hello:
Thanks for your concern and your response to my question. I’ve just found it now. I don’t understand why the notice didn’t appear in my inbox. In response your answer, I have indeed enable d explore by touch. I am able to touch some items and it gets activated, sometimes by accident, but I just cannot do serious navigation. Please suuggest some other trouble shooting measures I can take.

  • Thanks for sharing your concern with us, I really apologize that i missed first part of the question .
As you have mentioned that you are not able to use navigation gestures of your android kindly reset the settings of your android to factory default and check whether are you able to use gestures or not.
if problem still persists there may be hardware problem as well.
