R8500 is a 4x4 Wi-Fi router. How can I get a higher throughput with this router?

The Netgear R8500 Nighthawk X8 Router supports the latest Wi-Fi speed standard, AC5300. It mostly delivers fast Wi-Fi performance and has outstanding signal stability. The router has six LAN ports (as opposed to four seen in most routers) and has a super-fast wired connection.
This router doesn’t need any special configuration but you can perform these steps for better output if facing issue-
1.Keep the router in the middle and lift it up .
2.Any electric or metal or even wooden object around the router will decrease the performance.
3.Latest firmware update .
4. Changing 2.4 Ghz channel to 6 or 11 and 5 Ghz to 153.
