  • Most DSL providers use Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet (PPPoE) to establish Internet connections for end-users. To set up tp-link-re305us router, you need to enable PPPoE on the router’s web-based setup page.
    1. first connect your computer directly to your modem and check are you getting internet. If not,
contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP)
    2. now connect the modem to the router’s Internet port and the computer to any of the four
    Ethernet ports.
    3. After connecting your modem and PC to the router, check the lights on the front panel of the
    router.
    4. now open the router main page on your computer.
    5. now look for the Local IP Address and change it to 192.168.2.1 and save the settings.
    6. Renew the computer’s IP Address.
    7. Access the router’s web-based setup page using 192.168.2.1 as the IP Address.
    8. On the Setup page, click Status and check if Internet IP Address has numbers or values.
    9. Under the Setup tab, set the Internet Connection Type to PPPoE.
10.Enter the Username and Password that your ISP provided, including the domain in the User
