My printer is giving the error message that printer is not responding ....what should i have to do?

1. Try to restart your printer
2. If it’s a USB printer try to reseat the cables and then try to print
3. If the printer is connected over Wifi network then check whether it is connected wireless or not, else connect it again
4. Check for the printer drivers
5. You can also try to restart the pc
6. Most important thing to check if your are able to make copy from your printer to find out whether it’s a software issue or hardware issue
7. Check if the printer service is running. Go to CMD with Administrator and then type net start spooler it will start the service if it is stopped
When attempting to print in a wireless LAN environment, message Printer not responding may appear. There are several possible causes for this message.
Computer and router have lost connection. Restart the computer and try again.
Router and printer may not be communicating. Power cycle the devices to restore communication.
Printer driver must be configured to the proper port.
Reset the printer and configure it again.

On print do check network status first.If says connected to wireless and showing an assigned IP address to your printer ,Open that IP address in your Browser .If getting management page then wireless connection is good.
-Now remove all installed drivers of your printer from pc.
-Restart your printer and PC .
-Re-install the drivers from the driver disc or install it online.
-Now add your printer or run printer utility to install the printer again.
1.If your printer fails to respond to a job, check that all printer cables are connected properly and be sure that the printer is turned on.
2. If everything is connected properly and powered up, go to the control panel, Choose printers and be sure that your printer is selected as the default.
3. If everything checks out in the control panel, right click on your printer icon and select properties. Click on the details or port tab and make sure that the correct port is checked off.
4.Double click on the printer icon, which will bring up a list of current jobs in the print queue. Cancel all documents and try printing again. If your printer is attached by USB port, you may try connecting to other USB ports.
If problem still persists just reconfigure your printer with fresh settings.
