  • 1. Access the router webpage.
    2. Use the credentials to login.
    3.Go to Wireless Tab and choose the security type and enter the password of your choice.
    4.Save settings.
    5.Reconnect your devices to the same network using new password and devices will be up and running fine.

  • You need to open the default ip i.e 192.168.1.1 in the web browser .
    Now login to your router by entering the password.
    Then go to wireless and click on edit and from here you can change the existing wireless password .
    After entering the new password click on apply and router will apply the changes.
    Now you need to reconnect your all devices on wifi with new password.

  • First you need to connect your computer with router.
    Launch any internet browser using interface https://www.linksyssmartwifi.com or type router ip address in the address bar and default ip address would be 192.168.1.1
    Once you successfully logged into router dashboard
    Go to wireless and you can change the password.

  • To change the password of your linksys EA8300 kindly follow these steps:-
    1. Press windows + R key that will open run window for you.
    2. Type CMD in the run box.
    3. Open Ipconfig and check network statistics.
    4. Open your default gateway in any browser.
    5. Type your user name and password .
    6. It will open router main page then you need to go to wireless section .
    7. Under wirless section you can change passphrase/network key.
    8. save the settings and connect your devices with new password.
    9. kindly upgrade the router firmware as well if there is any update pending over there.
