  • To update the firmware of your Netgear R7800 router Kindly follow these steps:-
    1. Press windows + R key that will open run window for you.
    2. Type CMD in the run box.
    3. Open Ipconfig and check network statistics.
    4. Open your default gateway in any browser.
    5. Type your user name and password .
    6. now you are on router main page .
    7. you need to go to advanced tab and then administration there you will find upgrade of your
    router.
    8. click on update it will take 2-3 minutes and it will reboot your router automatically after
    updation.
    now your firmware of router has been successfully updated.

    Click the Firmware Update or Router Update button.

    Click Choose File or Browse.
    Locate and highlight the saved firmware on your desktop and click Open > Upload.
    Note: Do not interrupt this process as it might cause corruption, which will make your router unusable.
    Your router reboots after the firmware is uploaded. If your router does not reboot, check the Router Status page to confirm whether the new firmware version uploaded.
