I have netgear nighthawk ac1900 router that I need to setup Linksys extender to

It is very simple make sure your extender is plugged in and follow these steps.
1.On your netgear router there is a wps button once you locate that button press that wps button on the router and you will see a light blinking.
2.Now you need to press the wps button your extender and you will see a light blinking there as well.
3.Once you see netgear router and linksys extender have wps lights blinking it means it is trying to connect.
4.Once you will get solid lights on your extender and router the setup is done.
5.Now the name and password of the extender will be same as your router.

First of all you need to plugin the extender into the wall.
Then made the direct connection of your extender to computer with Ethernet cable.
Now open the browser and type in the web address http://extender.linksys.com
Now login to your extender with default password i.e admin
Now click on set up and extend the wireless network of your router.
Once done your extender will reboots itself .
Now you can move this extender to any place with in the range of your router.

There are several ways to connect your Linksys RE6500 extender i.e ethernet cable method ,wps method and many more but i am sharing wps method here for wps method you need to follow these steps:-
1. connect your extender in a direct wall socket near by your router for setup.
2. press wps button on your extender for 3-5 seconds.
3. press wps button on your router (you can do it by accessing router main page also).
4. it will be connected to your routers network.
5. you will see your network name with ext affixed in it.
6. connect to the same network .
7. it will open a setup wizard for you.
8. follow the on screen instructions and you are good to go now.
