  • As you have mentioned that you have entered ip address and subnet mask manually and there is no internet then your router is not properly setup and the lan tcp/ip settings which you are giving to router its not liking it.Here i am sharing common method to manually update lan tcp/ip settings of your router:-
    1. Launch an Internet browser from a computer or wireless device that is connected to the
    network.
    2. Type http://www.routerlogin.net or http://www.routerlogin.com or default gateway in any
    browser.
    3. Enter the router user name and password.
The user name is admin. The default password is password. The user name and password are
    case-sensitive.
    The BASIC Home screen displays.
    4. Select ADVANCED > Setup > LAN Setup.
    5. In the IP Address field, type the IP address.
    6. In the IP Subnet Mask, type the subnet mask of the router.
    7. Change the RIP settings. Router Information Protocol (RIP) allows a router to exchange routing
    information with other routers.
    9. Click the Apply button.Your changes are saved.
By following these steps you can manually update Lan tcp/ip settings.

  • Probably because your manual settings no longer correspond to the prefix that your router is expecting.

Put it back on automatic and everything will probably just work.
