The range of routers depends on a few factors–the protocol, the power, the frequency, interference, etc. NETGEAR R 6020 router which you are using must give you the network range upto 35 metre/115 feet but this is what we can say theoretical part as range might vary as per construction of place but still If you want to check the range of your NETGEAR R 6020 router simply grab you mobile phone or any hand held device and connect the device with your router’s network and simply walk slowly far away from your router and check the signal strength of your network and walk till you get the single bar of your network,now measure the distance. by following this step you can measure your router network range. use wi fi extenders if in case there is some dead zones at your place.
