  • LINKSYS ROUTER SETUP –
    1.PULG IN THE LINKSYS TO THE WALL OUTLET.
    2.WAIT FOR THE LIGHTS TO TURN SOLID ON YOUR ROUTER.
    3.NOW MAKE SURE YOUR MODEM IS CONNECTED TO THE LINKSYS ROUTER WITH AN ETHERNET CABLE GOING TO THE INTERNET SLOT OF THE ROUTER.
    5.ONCE THE DEVICE IS CONNECTED,OPEN YOUR BROWSER AND OPEN THIS WEBSITE http://www.linksyssmartwifi.com or 192.168.1.1 .
    6.NOW YOU NEED TO FOLLOW THE SETUP WIZARD ON THE SCREEN AND YOU ARE GOOD TO GO.

  • FIrst of all you need to configure your linksys router through http://www.linksyssmartwifi.com or 192.168.1.1 .
    Once your router is configured you can access the internet via router.
    Now grab any device and try to connect it over wireless connection
    It will ask you to enter the password or press the wps from router.
    So you can go with either ways and connect your devices over wireless connection.

  • Steps to setup linksys router –
    1.Check the attachment for cable connection with router and modem.
    2.Open the browser on the computer and type http://linksyssmartwifi.com or 192.168.1.1.
    3.Setup wizard will appear just follow the steps on the screen.
    4.Once the setup is completed you can remove the ethernet cable from the computer.

  • To setup your Linksys Ea 6300 router you need to follow these steps:-
    You need to plug in a cable from your existing modem to internet port of your router.
    after connecting this cable connect a cable from port no-4 of your router to your computer. then follow these steps:
    1. Press windows + R key that will open run window for you.
    2. Type CMD in the run box.
    3. Open Ipconfig and check network statistics.
    4. Open your default gateway in any browser.
    5. Type your user name and password .
    6. that will open a setup wizard for you so follow the steps and you are good to go.
    7. while following the setup wizard kindly make sure the settings you are choosing is correct
    i.e time zone and wireless network name and key.
    8. kindly upgrade the router firmware as well if there is any update pending over there.
