I AM USING NETGEAR ROUTER WNDR 3400  AND MY ROKU STICK IS NOT WORKING WITH WIFI SO WHAT SHOULD I DO ?

  • To connect your roku 3600x stick with your netgear wndr3400 router kindly follow these steps:-
    1.Connect the Roku Stick to an open HDMI port on your TV.
    2.Connect the included USB cable to the power adapter or your TV
    3.Insert batteries into your Roku remote.
    4.Turn on your TV and select the correct HDMI input.
    5.After the Roku is finished booting up, you’ll be prompted to pair your remote so that you can use
    it with the Roku Stick.
    6.After pairing your remote, you can use it to select the language you want your Roku menus
    displayed in.
    7.You’ll be guided through connecting your Roku to the internet and registering your Roku
    account.
    8.The Roku Stick will scan for any available wireless networks and prompt you to choose the one
    you want to connect to.
    9.After selecting a wireless network, enter the password if required. Your Roku Stick will then
    attempt to connect and obtain an IP address.
    10.After connecting to your wireless network, your Roku Stick will look for any available updates. If
    an update is available, kindly update it.
    11.When the Roku is finished updating, you’ll see the “Activate your Roku” screen. Visit
    roku.com/link on any wireless device and activate your account with a pin.

  • follow these steps –
    1.Connect the Roku Stick to an open HDMI port on your TV.
    2.Connect the included USB cable to the power adapter or your TV.

    4.Turn on your TV and select the correct HDMI input.

    6.Select your menu language.
    7.Start the Roku setup.
    8.Choose either WiFi or LAN setup.
    9.Connect the Roku to your router via Ethernet (optional). If you want to use a wired connection, you can use an Ethernet cable to connect the Ethernet port on the Roku to an open LAN port on your router. This may provide a better streaming experience, especially in apartment complexes or other areas with lots of WiFi interference.

  • -Go ahead and reboot your netgear router, and if any new firmware is available go ahead and upgrade it.

  • To setup you Roku you need to connect it to HDMI port of your TV.

    1.On your TV use input mode as HDMI.

    3.Select the language first and hit ok .
