For the Synology router login process, you can leave the password field blank and fill the username with ‘admin’. This login window is accessed using the default gateway router.synology.com or the default IP address. Once you hit the login button and reach the control panel, you can customize the settings and set up a new password on the Synology router. You can also change the username here. In case you forget the customized password, you can reset the router to factory defaults.
