Steps to change the router password:
- Open any compatible browser.
- Enter the default IP address and hit enter.
- Input the default credentials now.
- Click the wireless tab on the settings page. Click the Wireless Security sub-tab.
- In the passphrase field, enter the preferred wifi password.
- Click the save settings at the end to save the changes made.
Steps to update the firmware of Linksys EA9300 router:
- Open any compatible browser.
- In the address bar of the browser enter the default IP address 192.168.1.1.
- Enter the login credentials.
- Click the administration option. Now choose Firmware upgrade.
- Click the Browse button.
- Locate and select the file that you downloaded and then click Open.
- Click the Start Upgrade button. Do not turn off the router.
- Click on continue when it prompts.
The upgrade is successful. Turn off the router and turn it back ON.
