- Start by connecting your device to the router.
- Open any compatible browser and enter the default gateway http://router.asus.com in the browser's address bar.
- Input the login credentials in the given field on the login page and click Sign In.
- Go to the Wireless option. Choose General and type in the password you wish to use in the future.
- Click on Apply to complete the settings. The password should be strong enough for any outside source to crack.
You can also change the wifi name by accessing the login page in the same way.
