Yes, you can change the wifi name and password for the Linksys extender without resetting it. You can do this by accessing the control panel of the Linksys extender using the default gateway extender.linksys.com. You can even use the default IP address to access the wireless settings page. Once you access the settings page, feel free to change the configurations as per your preference.
