Keeping in mind the wifi frequency band and the wifi channel aspects, you can find the best wifi channel for the router:
- First, try to choose a wifi frequency band based on the wifi coverage area, floors, objects, etc.
- You can also go for the non-overlapping wifi channel. For instance, if you are choosing a channel for the 2.4 GHz band but find a lot of traffic near you, then you can set the router to either 1 or 11.
- You can also use the wifi network analyzer tool to check the neighboring access point.
