What should be the distance between the amped rec33a extender and linksys ea7300 router after the setup?

extender MUST be within the wireless range of the wireless router. Tip: If you have to use a different location, move the Extender closer to the device, but still within the wireless range of the router

It should be within 50ft.from the Linksys router.
