How to update the firmware ? I, am  trying to update it from browser but i dont know how to do it..

First you need to press the window +r on the keyboard and type over there Cmd.
Now type IP config in Cmd prompt and press enter. And you will see the default gateway over there so that is the IP address of the net gear d 6200.
Pull a browser and type the IP address on the long search bar and press enter .
And than it will asked for your username and the password and then it will take you to the login page and from there you can go to the administrations and update the firmware of your net gear D 62oo router.

To manually upgrade your router’s firmware:
Download the firmware for your router from the NETGEAR Download Center, save it to your desktop, and unzip the file if needed.
Using a computer that is connected to your router via an Ethernet cable (wired), launch a web browser from a computer.
Note: Do not use a computer that is connected wirelessly to the router to upload the firmware. A wireless firmware update might corrupt the router’s firmware, rendering it unusable.
Enter http://www.routerlogin.net.
Enter the router user name and password.
The user name is admin and the default password is password. The user name and password are case-sensitive.
Select ADVANCED > Administration.
Click the Firmware Update or Router Update button.
The button label varies by router.
Click Choose File or Browse.
Locate and highlight the saved firmware on your desktop and click Open > Upload.
Note: Do not interrupt this process as it might cause corruption, which will make your router unusable.
Your router reboots after the firmware is uploaded. If your router does not reboot, check the Router Status page to confirm whether the new firmware version uploaded.
To update the firmware of your Netgear d6200 router you need to follow these steps:-
1. Press windows + R key that will open run window for you.
2. Type CMD in the run box.
3. Open Ipconfig and check network statistics.
4. Open your default gateway in any browser.
5. Type your user name and password .
6. now you are on router main page .
7. you need to go to advanced tab and then administration there you will find upgrade of your
router.
8. click on update it will take 2-3 minutes and it will reboot your router automatically after
updation.
now your firmware of router has been successfully updated.
