How do i recover the username and password for my asus rt-ac3100 router?

for that, you need to reset the device and reconfigure it.

Press and hold the reset button on your Asus router for at least 30 seconds and then reconfigure it again. And in order to reconfigure, follow these steps:-
- connect your computer with the Asus router's network
- open your browser and type this address:- 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.50.1 or https://router.asus.com
- It will take you to the setup page.
- follow the instructions on the screen and complete the setup process.
