  • Before connecting your smartphone with wifi , you must have network name(ssid) and network password
    :-Go to settings on your smartphone
    :-Go to wifi..
    :-Select your network name and click connect..
    :-Enter your network password and hit connect.
    :-Once its connected you can browse internet on phone..

    1.CHECK IF YOU HAVE A FIRMWARE UPGRADE ON YOU’RE ROUTER.
    2.YOU CAN ALSO POWER CYCLE MODEM AND THE ROUTER.
    3.CHANGE THE NAME AND THE PASSWORD OF THE ROUTER.
    4.LAST STEP IS TO RESET AND SETUP THE ROUTER AGAIN.

  • To connect your smartphone with netgear wnr1000v3 router you need to check few things :-

    1. you should be aware about the network name and network security key of your netgear router.
    2. If earlier your phone was connected to same network then you need to forget the network once
    and then try to reconnect.
    3. restart your smartphone once.
    4. you can change your network name and password by accessing the router main page then try to connect again with new network name and password.

  • Few things which you need to do on your router first-

    -Check for firmware update.
    -Change channel to 11 or 6 for 2.4GHz.
    -Change mode to-130mbps.
    -Try changing the name of your wireless.(It works in some cases)

    Now on your smartphone-

    -Simply go to settings.
    -Go to wireless and forget the network .
    -You can also reset the network settings in Reset option on your phone.
    -Restart the phone and then try.
