How to update firmware of ea7500?
:-Log in using the website http://linksyssmartwifi.com or your router’s IP address (i.e. http://192.168.0.1).
:-On the setup page click administration.
:-Select firmware upgrade
:-On the update firmware pop up box, click yes
:-You should now have an updated firmware on your linksys smart wi fi router.
To update the firmware of your Linksys EA7500 router you need to follow these steps:-
1. Press windows + R key that will open run window for you.
2. Type CMD in the run box.
3. Open Ipconfig and check network statistics.
4. Open your default gateway in any browser.
5. Type your user name and password .
6. now you are on router main page .
7. you need to go to advanced tab and then administration there you will find upgrade of your
router.
8. click on update it will take 2-3 minutes and it will reboot your router automatically after
updation.
now your firmware of router has been successfully updated.

Simply connect a ethernet cable from the router to the computer.
-Open your browser and type -http://linksyssmartwifi.com or 192.168.1.1 .
-Login with access password which you setup if not then check on the bottom for default.
-On the linksys Dashboard Hit connectivity.
-On the basic tab you will see firmware update .Just hit and do the update.
In order to update the firmware of your linksys router ……
Connect your computer with the wireless of your router.
Open the Browser and enter the Default ip address of your router i.e 192.168.1.1
Now you need to enter the details of your router access page and login to the router page.
Default username should be admin and password is password itself
Now go to the wireless option on the router page
Under this you will see check for new updates , so check in the box and look for new firmware upgrades.
Once the upgrade is started it will took 2 minutes approx . so till the time all network connections will be interrupted.
Now your router is upgraded with new firmware .
