How do i connect my amped Tap-Ex series range extender to the Xfinity Business router’s wifi network?

• Turn ON your Amped Extender
• connect your computer with the Amped wireless network
• open your browser and type this address:- 192.168.1.240 on the top most address bar
• it will take you to the setup page
• from there, click on the scan button and after that, it will scan for the available wifi networks
• select your Xfinity router’s WiFi network and then hit next
• enter your WiFi password and then hit next again
• create your WiFi information for the amped extender and then save settings
• now it will take a few seconds to save the settings and after that extender will be configured. if u faced any difficulty in that do let us know so that we can help u in other way.

To connect my amped Tap-Ex series range extender to the Xfinity Business router’s wifi network , first plug in the extender to the power and make suter it’s placed close to the router. Make sure to reset if any changed have been made before on the extender.Connect the computer or any other wireless device with the extender’s network and open 192.168.1.240 OR setup.ampedwireless.com on the browser. Now click on the scan on the setup wizard , select the network that you want to extend. Enter the credentials of the desired network. Save the settings and let the extender reboot . Once you see the solid light on the extender , then you can try connecting the devices with the extender’s network.

to make a connections between your extender and the router, plugin the extender into the wall socket near your router for the initial setup.

now connect any device with the extender network and open your browser.

in the URL bar of your browser type 192.168.1.240 it will take you to the setup wizard page follow the instructions to complete the setup.

then open a browser and at the very top of your browser in the long address bar type IP address which is 192.168.1.240 and hit enter.

and it will take you to the dashboard of your Amped  range extender then click on scan follow the instruction and complete the setup .

To setup amped TAP-EX series range extender follow these steps:-
Plugin the amped range extender near to your Xfinity business router for the initial setup.
*If you made any change on the extender before, then reset the extender by pressing the reset button for at least 30 seconds.
Connect any of your wireless device with amped wireless network.
Open any browser and in the address bar type http://192.168.1.240 or http://setup.ampedwireless.com
Now you will see the SCAN button on the page, click on it and after that, it will scan the wireless networks nearby to it.
From the list select network that you want to extend and then enter the password for the same.
In the next step if you want you can change the name of the extended network and password of your
choice that you want for it.
Now save the settings and range extender will reboot after saving the settings.
Once extender lights get solid connect your devices to the extended network and try to go online
so that we can check that extender setup done successfully.
