How do i configure my Tplink TL-WA855RE range extender with the spectrum router’s wifi network?

FOllow these steps:

connect your computer with the extender’s network

open your web browser and type this address:- 192.168.0.254

it will take you to the setup page

create your login password for the TP-Link extender

after that, it will scan for the available networks

select your spectrum router’s wifi network and then enter the wifi password and after that hit next

now create the wifi name for your extender and save the settings

the extender will reboot to save the settings and once your extender will be rebooted, it means your extender is configured.

to make a connections between your extender and the router, plugin the extender into the wall socket near your router for the initial setup.

now connect any device with the extender network and open your browser.

in the URL bar of your browser type 192.168.1.240 it will take you to the setup wizard page follow the instructions to complete the setup.

turn on the extender, Connect your extender to the computer using an ethernet cable or via wireless.

Pull up a browser and at the top of the address bar type in 192.168.0.254 and hit enter

this should direct to you to the setup screen for your extender please follow the instructions and complete the setup.

Make sure you connect your extender to the spectrum router wifi

To configure my Tplink TL-WA855RE range extender with the spectrum router's wifi network , first you will have to make sure that you have not made any changes on the extender , if yes , then reset the extender . Connect the computer or any other wireless device with the extender's network. Now open 192.168.0.254 on the browser , Once you see the setup wizard , then you will have to enter the credentials . Now click on scan on the setup wizard and select the network that you want to extend. enter the password and click on save . Let the extender reboot and once you see the solid lights on the extender it means it's setup now .
