How do i setup both the bands of the Linksys RE6300 extender using the wps method?
plug in the extender into the wall socket near to your router for the initial setup
after that wait, for the extender to get turned on, then press and hold the WPS button on the router for 10 seconds and then press and hold the button on the extender for 10 seconds
after that, you will be able to see the lights of both the bands will get solid that means the extender is configured
- Plug your Extender within 10 ft from the main router(just for the setup)
- press and hold the WPS button on your extender for 3 seconds and then release it and within 2 minutes press and hold the WPS button on your main router for 3 seconds and then release it.
- and after that, wait for the lights to get stable on the extender, and once the light get stable it means the extender is configured
- and now for the second band, y0u need to repeat the 2 and 3 steps again.
In order to set up both the bands of a Linksys re6300 router please follow the instructions below:
Make sure the extender is powered On and plugged in somewhere near to the router for the initial setup at least 10 Ft. press and hold the WPS button the extender first for 3 seconds and then on the router once this completes repeating the process to configure the second band.

Also plug in the extender close to the router. Now press the WPS button on the extender for 3 seconds and do it the same within next 2 minutes on the router also . Now it's connected.
