To connect the Linksys RE6400 range extender with the Hitron Router's wifi , first we will have to place the extender close to the router , distance should not be more than 10 feet . Now plug in the extedner to the power and wait for 5 seconds . Now to connect first connect any computer or wireless device with the extender's network and then open 192.168.1.1 on the browser . Now you will have to enter the credentials there . Once you are logged in , then click on scan , to scan the list of available wifi networks and select the network that you wish to extend. Now enter the password of the selected network to be extended. Once it's done save the settings and after it reboots and light becomes solid , that means it's connected now.

To connect Linksys Re6400 to your router, first plugin the extender into the wall socket near to your router for the initial setup and wait till the extender gets fully powered on.

Now press and hold the WPS button on the router for atleast 10 seconds and then within 1 minute press and hold the WPS button on the extender for 5 seconds.

now the WIFI lights on the extender will get solid .

Now connect any laptop or other wireless device with the extender network and then open the browser.

In the long address bar type the IP address (192.168.1.1) it will take you to the extender page over there you can put up the security password and save the settings after that.
