How to setup my Dlink DIR-605L Router with Cox modem?
connect the ethernet cable from the modem and in the internet port of the router and then use the extra ethernet cable to make a connection between your router and your any laptop or computer and then open the browser of your device and in the long address bar of your browser type the IP address that is 192.168.0.1 it will take you to the setup wizard page
Complete the instructions and setup the password and then save the settings.
- Connect and Ethernet cable between your modem and the D-Link router(make sure that the cable should be connected to the Internet port of the router)
- Turn On your D-Link Router
- connect your computer or smartphone with the router's network
- open your web browser and type this address:- 192.168.0.1
- it will take you to the setup page
- Now follow the instructions on the screen and complete the setup process.

To setup my Dlink DIR-605L Router with Cox modem , you need an ethernet cable to connect your modem's LAN port to the INTERNET port of the router. Then connect the computer to the router with WiFi or Cable. Now open a browser on the computer type the IP address on the address bar which is 192.168.0.1 and hit enter. You will see the setup wizard on the screen . Follow the instructions on the screen and finish the setup.
In order to setup D-link DIR605L Router with the COX modem, you need to follow the steps below:
Connect an ethernet cable between your Modem's LAN port and the internet port of the router, turn ON the router. Connect your Computer to the Dlink router via ethernet or Wi-Fi.
Pull up a browser and at the top of the address bar type in 192.168.0.1 and hit enter you will get to the D-Link router setup, all you have to do is follow the setup instruction and complete the setup.
