• Below are instructions on how to configure and setup the NETGEAR wireless adapter using the NETGEAR Smart Wizard software utility.

  Configuring Smart Wizard for WEP encryption

  Click Start then go to All programs. Look for NETGEAR wireless adapter folder then select the NETGEAR Smart Wizard.
  NETGEAR Smart Wizard wireless utility should appear on your desktop screen.
  Click on the Networks Tab. This will automatically scan for all the available wireless network within your proximity.
  Select the SSID of the wireless network that you want to connect, then hit the Connect button.
  On the Settings tab, click WEP under the Security option then select Enter Key Manually.

  Type the 10 or 26 characters (Hexa decimal) keys on the space provided.
  In the Profiles field, assign a name to help you remember this wireless network settings in the future, then click Save Profile.

  1. first you need to install software suite on your computer either with resource cd or from netgear
  official website by choosing right model number.
  2. After installation just open the setup file (that should be autorun.exe file)
  3. Install the setup software using one of the following methods.
  – Connected to the Internet. If you are connected to the Internet,
  click the Check for Updates button. After the software checks
  for updates, the Update Check Complete screen displays. Click the
  Continue button. The Welcome screen displays.
  – Not connected to the Internet. If you are not connected to the
  Internet, click the Install from CD button. The Welcome screen displays.
  4. Insert the adapter into a USB port on your computer with or without the
  USB cable and plastic cradle.
