How to change the admin password of the RE650 Extender ?
o change the admin password on the extender, you need to login to the dashboard by using the ip address 192.168.0.1 from any device connect to the extender network
once you are logged in, you can make any changes you want to make.
Connect either one device with the tplink RE650 extender's wifi network and then open the web browser on the device and you have to visit http://tplinkrepeater.net or you can also try the IP address that is assigned by the main router to the extender.
Once you logged into the extender then under the System Tools you need to choose Admin Account, over there you will be able to change the admin password of your tplink range extender.
- On your smartphone or computer, login into the Tplink extender’s settings by using the IP address(you can find the IP address in the main router’s settings under the connected devices list)
- Once you are logged in the extender’s settings
- From the left-hand side, click on system tools option and then click on the admin password
- and from there, you can change the admin password for your tplink extender.
