    1.YOU NEED TO CONNECT YOUR COMPUTER ON LINKSYS WIFI ROUTER VIA ETHERNET CABLE OR ON WIFI.
    2.THEN OPEN THIS WEBSITE https://www.linksyssmartwifi.com/ui/1.0.1.1127/dynamic/login.html.
    3.NOW LOGIN WITH YOUR EMAIL AND PASSWORD.
    4.ONCE YOU ARE LOGGED IN CLICK ON CONNECTIVITY AND THERE CLICK ON “CHECK FOR FIRMWARE UPDATE” AND ALSO YOU CAN CHECK THE BOX “AUTOMATIC UPDATES” IF THE BOX IS CHECKED ROUTER WILL UPDATE ITSELF AUTOMATICALLY.
    5.IF THERE IS A UPDATE CLICK ON YES TO UPDATE.

    NOTE:-WHILE THE ROUTER IS UPDATING THE FIRMWARE MAKE SURE YOU DON’T UNPLUG THE ROUTER OR THE MODEM.

  • Instructions :-
    Use a computer to connect to Linksys router .
    Login to the web user interface of your linksys router using http://www.linksyssmartwifi.com
    You will be prompted to login.

    Note: Username and password are case sensitive.
    Once you have successfully logged in,
    Click on check firmware update
    Router will check for the updated cersion of firmware ,
    If there is any firmware required you can update it from the router page
    Once the firmware updated
    Reboot computer , router for better performance..

  • 1-Connect your router to your computer.
    2-next step is to login in the router so open this website https://www.linksyssmartwifi.com.
    3-after you open the website you will see it says to sign in so if you already have an account sign in with that or create a new one.
    4-after you sign in the linksys router page you need to click on connectivity and there you will see update router.
    5-after clicking on update you can see it will tell a new firmware found so click on yes and your router will be updated.

  • To update the firmware of your Linksys router you need to follow these steps:-
    1. Press windows + R key that will open run window for you.
    2. Type CMD in the run box.
    3. Open Ipconfig and check network statistics.
    4. Open your default gateway in any browser.
    5. Type your user name and password .
    6. now you are on router main page .
    7. you need to go to advanced tab and then administration there you will find upgrade of your
    router.
    8. click on update it will take 2-3 minutes and it will reboot your router automatically after
    updation.
    now your firmware of router has been successfully updated.
