To change the password of your network you need to follow these steps:-
1. Press windows + R key that will open run window for you.
2. Type CMD in the run box.
3. Open Ipconfig and check network statistics.
4. Open your default gateway in any browser.
5. Type your user name and password . (Default user name – admin password-password).
6. It will open router main page then you need to go to wireless section .
7. Under wireless section you can change passphrase/network key.
8. save the settings and connect your devices with new password.
9. kindly upgrade the router firmware as well if there is any update pending over there.
if problem still persists you can reset your router and follow the same steps.

LINKSYS ROUTER SETUP –
1.PULG IN THE LINKSYS TO THE WALL OUTLET.
2.WAIT FOR THE LIGHTS TO TURN SOLID ON YOUR ROUTER.
3.NOW MAKE SURE YOUR MODEM IS CONNECTED TO THE LINKSYS ROUTER WITH AN ETHERNET CABLE GOING TO THE INTERNET SLOT OF THE ROUTER.
5.ONCE THE DEVICE IS CONNECTED,OPEN YOUR BROWSER AND OPEN THIS WEBSITE http://www.linksyssmartwifi.com or 192.168.1.1 .
6.NOW YOU NEED TO FOLLOW THE SETUP WIZARD ON THE SCREEN AND YOU ARE GOOD TO GO.
Linksys router set-up :-
Connect the ethernet cable between modem and router at internet slot on both ends.
Open the web browser.
Fill the login address 192.168.1.1 in the address bar.
Press enter key and here you will need to fill the login details.
After filling the login details, simply press the enter key and you will be redirected to the Linksys router setup page.
Follow the instructions and once the setup is done .
You can connect devices to your router.
