How do i upgrade the firmware of linksys ac2600 router manually?









Go to the official website of the linksys and download the firmware file for your linksys router, connect your computer with the linksys router’s network
open your web browser and type this address:- 192.168.1.1 or linksyssmartwifi.com
enter your login password(router password) and default is admin.
once you are logged in, then go to the connectivity tab
under the router firmware upgrade ,click on the choose file option
select your firmware file, and hit open, then it will update the firmware

In order to upgrade the firmware of linksys ac2600 router manually you need to go the official website of linksys download the firmware file of the router.
Connect your computer with linksys router network.
Open any browser and type there 192.168.1.1 or linksyssmartwifi.com.
Now enter your login password.
Once you logged in then go to the connectivity tab.
Select your firmware and hit open.
Then it will update the firmware.

A Router Reboot screen will pop up. Click Ok to continue. The router reboot process usually takes a few minutes.

- First of all, go to the official website of the linksys and download the firmware file for your linksys router.

First of all you need to download the firmware from this link(https://www.linksys.com/sg/support-article?articleNum=226212)
Then login into the router by visiting http://192.168.1.1 or http://linksyssmartwifi.com and it will take you to the dashboard.
Over there you need to choose Connectivity and then under Router Firmware upgrade click on Choose File>Select the latest firmware file that you downloaded from the Linksys website and then Start.
The firmware upgrade process will take up to 3-5 Minutes and after that router will reboot/restart.
