How do i connect my Netgear WN3000RP range extender with Residential Gateway's wifi?
for extender setup follow the below steps:-
1.Turn On your netgear extender
2.connect your computer or smartphone with the netgear extender’s network
3.open your web browser and type this address:- 192.168.1.250
it will take you to the extender’s setup page
4.now follow the instructions on the screen and complete the setup process
once the setup will be completed,then you can connect your wireless devices with the extender’s network
for extender setup follow the below steps:-

2.connect your computer or smartphone with the netgear extender’s network
3.open your web browser and type this address:- 192.168.1.250
it will take you to the extender’s setup page
4.now follow the instructions on the screen and complete the setup process
once the setup will be completed,then you can connect your wireless devices with the extender’s network
- Push and hold the Factory Settings button (located on the side panel) for 10 seconds.
Your range extender resets. - Open your computer or mobile device’s WiFi menu and connect to the extender’s default WiFi network, NETGEAR_EXT.
- Launch a web browser on your connected device.
- Type 192.168.10.1 into your web browser’s address bar.
- Press Enter or click Search.
- Enter your username and password.
Note: The default username is admin and the default password is password. The username and password are case sensitive. - Click LOG IN.
- Follow the prompts to reconnect your extender to your home network.
Note: If your router uses WEP security, enter its network name (SSID) and password when prompted. - Reconnect your WiFi devices to the extender.

- open your web browser and type this address:- 192.168.1.250
- it will take you to the extender's setup page
- now follow the instructions on the screen and complete the setup process
- once the setup will be completed,then you can connect your wireless devices with the extender's network
First plug in the netgear range extender into the wall socket near to the Residential Gateway router.Reset the extender if any changes are made before.Connect any wireless device with netgear extender's wifi network.Now open 192.168.1.250 in the browser.From there follow instructions to set up the extender.Make any changes e.g. wifi name or password,then save the settings and reboot the extender.
To setup Netgear WN3000RPÂ range extender follow these steps:-
>Plug in the range extender into the wall socket near to your Residential Gateway router for the initial setup.
*If you made any change on the extender before, then reset the extender by pressing reset button for at least 30 seconds.
>Connect any of your wireless devices with Netgear extender wireless network(i.e. Netgear_Ext)
>Open any browser and in the address bar type http://192.168.1.250 or http://mywifiext.net
>Now you will see the setup wizard in the page, follow the instructions to setup the range extender.
>If you want you can change the name of extended network and password of your choice that you want for it.
>Now save the settings and range extender will reboot after saving the settings.
>Once extender lights get solid connect your devices to the extended network and try to go online so that we can check that extender setup done successfully.
