How to configure Linksys ea8300 router without the Ethernet Cable?

• Connect a wireless computer, tablet or smartphone to the default Wi-Fi of your router.
• Open a web browser and enter  “http://192.168.1.1”.
• The setup wizard will start to check your router and internet connection.
• Enter your Wi-Fi Name and Wi-Fi Password.  These will apply across all three bands.  Click Next.
• Your Router is setup Now with New Username and the password.

There are some steps that we need to follow in order to configure linksys router without an Ethernet cable, which are as follows:-

1. Turn On your Linksys Router
2. Connect an Ethernet cable between your linksys router and the modem(cable should be connected to the internet port of the linksys router). This cable should be connected otherwise we will not be able to setup our linksys router.
3. Now ,in order to configure it wirelessly, Connect your Computer or Smartphone with the linksys router's wifi network
4. Once your device is connected to the wifi, then Open your Web Browser and type this address on the Browser:- https://linksyssmartwifi.com or 192.168.1.1
5. Now ,it will take you to the Setup page of the Router
6. Agree to the Terms and Licence and then Click on Next
7. It will search for the internet connection, after that you need to create your new wifi information and on the Next Page, need to create login password(Router Password),that should be different from the main wifi password.
8. On the Next page, it will look for the new firmware update, once that we will be completed then it will take you to the Dashboard of your linksys router.
9. It means your router is configured now and you can connect your devices with the new wifi network

In order to do the wireless setup of your Linksys EA8300 router you need to connect any one of your wireless devices to the router's wifi network starts with "Linksys"

After connecting to the router's network open any one of your web browsers and at the long address bar type http://192.168.1.1 or http://linksyssmartwifi.com
