How can we change the login username and password for the asus router?
to change the password of the asus login page you need to reset the router
for reset the router you need to press and hold the reset key for the 30 second for the factory reset
and configure it again it will ask you to put new password of the username of the router login pager
then save it
in order to do that first login to asus.router.comย or 192.168.1.1ย the login with default credentials,which is admin for user name and password both,after you are logged in go to administration and then system.you can change the password or the user name from there.
Follow these steps for change the login username and password of your Asus router-
-Login into the router page by typing http://192.168.1.1 or http://router.asus.com in the long address bar of your browser(default username & password is admin).
-Now click on the Administration and then System, over there you will be able to change the login username and password for your Asus router.
- Connect your computer or smartphone with the asus router's network
- Open your browser and type this address:- https://router.asus.com or 192.168.1.1
- Now type your current Login username and password (default is admin for both)
- Once you are signed in ,then go to the Administration tab from the left hand side
- Under the system tab, you can change your username and password and then you can Hit Apply from the very bottom.
- Next time you need to use your new login information in order to login into the router settings
