To upgrade the firmware on the linksys re3000w extender ,we need to login into the Linksys extender settings and then to Ip address of the Linksys extender. Login into your main router settings and find the ip address of your linksys extender under the connected devices list. Type that ip address in your browser and Login into your linksys extender using your login password. After thatย From the left hand side, click on firmware upgrade.

For that we need to login into the Linksys extender settings and in order to login we need to get the Ip address of the Linksys extender

So first of all, login into your main router settings and from there find the ip address of your linksys extender under the connected devices list. Once you get the ip address , Type that ip address in your browser and it will take you to the login page of your linksys. Login into your linksys extender using your login password(default is admin). After that From the left hand side, click on firmware upgrade.
